Are my visits and records confidential if I use insurance?

Your insurance company has access to your records, diagnosis and medications that have been prescribed. Your consent to release to these records is required before we can accept your insurance as part of your insurance policy. You can call your insurance company to inquire more about that. Otherwise, your records are confidential and can’t be released under HIPPAA laws except in case of emergency.
